Cassandra always knew she was going to lead a very creative life, even at a young age, although her education and work experience did not always lead in that direction.
Her academic journey began with a degree in Classics (Ancient History) from Concordia University in 2006. Shortly after graduating on went the business suit working for a multi-national distributor of electronic components for 2 years. Realizing this was not the right place for her she jumped at the chance to move to Toronto and try her hand at owning her own business - Persephonie Studios.
Attending a continuing education course in jewellery making at George Brown College was the moment that Cassandra realized that she wanted to become a goldsmith. She enrolled in the Jewellery Methods program at George Brown College, set to graduate in 2011.
Today Cassandra combines precious metals and gemstones with contemporary designs to create a jewellery line that is sophisticated and easy to wear. All pieces are handcrafted in Toronto.
